Dear Church Family!
In the Bay Area, we are constantly chasing success, efficiency, and the limitless possibilities promised by AI—yet we often forget this simple truth: we only have one life, and it was never meant to be hijacked by achievement. The Great Commission—to make disciples and proclaim Christ—is too often overlooked, quietly becoming the Great Omission. But Jesus continually calls us away from the pressure to perform and back into the true work of His Kingdom. This Winter Retreat invites our entire church family to realign our focus toward eternity, to step away from the unseen idols of Bay Area culture, and to once again live lives that are grounded, faithful, and centered on God’s Kingdom.
在湾区，我们总是不停追逐成功、效率，以及 AI 所带来的无限想像——却常常忘了，一个最根本的事实：我们只有一次的人生，本不该被成就与表现所绑架。 「大使命」——使万民作主的门徒、宣扬基督——经常被我们忽略，悄悄成了「大遗漏」。但耶稣一直呼唤我们，离开追求表现与成功的压力，回到祂国度真正的工作中。这次冬季退修会，邀请全体教会家庭重新调整焦点，转向永恒，离开湾区文化中那些看不见的偶像，再一次活出以神国为优先、荣耀而踏实的生命。
