人在罪中掙扎，就像快要淹沒在漫過的洪濤、又似困在獵人網羅中的鳥。雖然窮盡一切辦法，卻無法改變分毫。正如使徒保羅所說：「立志為善由得我，只是行出來由不得我。」（羅7:18）
然而，靠著至高的神就可以了。祂擁有人類的原創版權，清楚我們每個人的強弱長短，又願意付出任何人都無法支付的生命代價，能使正向滅亡之路急速滑落的我們觸底反彈。是啊！「我們得幫助，是在乎倚靠造天地之耶和華的名。」（8節）
