「輿論暴力」、「網路霸凌」等是近年常見的詞彙。但其實這類以言語、文字的攻擊古已有之，並且也確實「有效」。我們看到大衛在「惡人的嘴」、「詭詐人的口」的攻擊下，也開始了他的詛咒，恨不得敵人「他的年日短少」、「他的兒女為孤兒」、「他的兒女漂流討飯」。不過他說：「他們與我為敵以報我愛，但我專心祈禱」（4節）。無論任何時候，即使在悲忿莫名的時候，仍然要相信神在掌管，祂公義聖潔，斷不以有罪為無罪。
